Eagle's Nest Walk - (Environmental Discovery Walk)
   Wedge Tailed Eagle's Nest (eyrie) located on the property - fascinating and huge.
   Easy to follow self-guided walk with environmental points of interest along the way.
   Laminated Teachers / Leaders notes provided.
   Designed to fit in as a rotation activity or can be a stand alone small group activity.
   Sketch, write discuss, observe - wonderful teaching opportunity.
   Keep an eye out for the Eagle during your stay.

   Easy to take - Coastal Forest Lodge staff will brief your teachers.
   Variety of courses for different year levels - all set up and ready to go.
   Master sheets provided in Teacher Kit (pre camp).
   Students can work individually or in pairs.
   Develops observational and map reading skills.
Bushwalks
   Use the natural beauty of Coastal Forest Lodge campsite for short and long walks - Boundary Rider, Eagle's Nest, Grasstree Trek (Coastal Forest Lodge can advise).
   Across the road from Coastal Forest Lodge is the National Heritage Heathland area and the Forest Road Flora Reserve.
   Anglesea Bushwalk. Enjoy the hike from the Coastal Forest Lodge to Coogooarah Park in Anglesea (approx 5.5km). Have a picnic lunch, organize activities with Eco Logic, or GORATS or GRAW or stroll along the riverbank to the beach for fun and games etc.
   Coastal Forest Lodge provides a guide to lead the walk and a free bus trip back to Coastal Forest Lodge at end of day. (only for catered school bookings)

   Using natural materials from the camp environment or a combination of natural and artificial materials for: -Nutty creatures, Rock Monsters, Mobiles, Collages, Leaf bookmarks, Drawing and sketching, Aboriginal dot paintings, Kites - plenty of space to fly.
   Schools must provide all the materials required.
Bush Craft
   Fire lighting, safety, food preparation and cooking.
   Can be used as a lunchtime activity - Coastal Forest Lodge prepares a sausage sizzle and the group completes meal with damper, banana boats and billy tea.
   Helps develop fire safety awareness, environmental awareness and cooperative skills.
   A popular and enjoyable activity (but only available as per Fire Season Declaration and weather conditions).

   PAR 20 - 9 hole course - undercover.
   Challenging, colourful, enjoyable.
   Equipment provided.
   Use as a rotational activity or with archery, or as an extra after dinner (but under supervision).
   Award a certificate to the Coastal Forest Lodge Mini Golf Champ.
Bush Shelters
   Construction of shelters using natural materials.
   Challenging and enjoyable.
   Helps develop teamwork and cooperation.
   Promotes awareness of the natural environment - no damage/ destruction policy- use only fallen timber or leaves etc.
   Current issues- people living today.
   Set the water test and see who has built the most waterproof shelter.
